Senior LevelLumicity is partnered with an exciting early-stage startup in California developing advanced optical coherent link technology, and they are looking to hire a Senior Optical Systems Test Engineer. In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for all high-speed electrical and optical link testing activities, overseeing test operations, strategy development, execution, team guidance, and cross-functional alignment.

Serve as the technical lead for all high-speed electrical and optical link testing activities
Own all test operations, strategy development, execution, team guidance and cross-functional alignment
Qualification
Required
Extensive hands-on experience in high-speed electrical or optical testing
Proven experience with optical instrumentation, such as oscilloscopes, BERT, PAM4, tunable lasers, photodetectors
Strong understanding of high-speed signalling and optics
Prior experience with silicon photonics, integrated optical engineers or coherent link technology
Experience with lab workflows, test planning and hardware bring-up
Strong communication skills, with the ability mentor and coach engineers
