Electrical Engineer - Surface Equipment (Senior - Principal - Advisor) - Production Enhancement

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical contributor or technical lead on Electric Frac R&D projects, establishing development plans and electrical design documentation including drawing Bill of Materials, etc
Design, analyze, and validate electrical systems supporting high-power fracturing equipment, controls, and automation platforms
Apply engineering tools, modeling, and simulation to evaluate system performance, reliability, and operational risk
Identify technical and project risks and provide input to mitigation strategies in collaboration with project and product leads
Ensure Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements are embedded throughout the electrical design and testing lifecycle
Develop and execute electrical test specifications, qualification plans, and validation activities to support product commercialization
Contribute innovative, commercially viable solutions that strengthen Halliburton’s Intellectual Property portfolio
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, controls, manufacturing, supply chain, and field operations
Support design reviews, failure investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Electric Frac technology portfolio
Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal technical communities to align designs with field and operational requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Minimum four (4) years of related experience in electrical engineering, R&D, or product development
Working knowledge of electrical system design, testing methods, and performance analysis
Ability to apply safety, quality, and engineering standards throughout the development process

Preferred

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Experience supporting high-power electrical systems, industrial equipment, or energy-related technologies
Exposure to product development, qualification testing, and commercialization in field-deployed systems
