Metadata Specialist

Responsibilities
Ensures that the OhioLINK shared journal collection includes the correct content by reviewing reports and data to determine if the expected and correct data has been delivered locally and is available on vendor websites
Identifies missing and erroneous content in the Electronic Journal Center and follows up with vendors to claim and track missing data
Participates in special projects from time to time with other OhioLINK team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrable experience with and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Demonstrable experience with detailed data-related tasks
Preferred
1+ years of experience in academic library or publishing environment or an inventory management system in another industry
General knowledge of library serials management
Ability to create Microsoft Excel macros
