Responsibilities

Support engineers on structural and highway design plans for transportation projects
Work collaboratively on multi-discipline projects with other technicians and engineers in the roadway and structural groups
Apply CAD software skills and knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices and techniques to develop structural design plans
Prepare sketches and review shop drawings during construction phase work assignments
Meet deadlines and ensure plans adhere to all internal and client specific quality standards

Qualification

MicroStationAutoCADCAD standardsCivil 3DMS OfficeBluebeamTeam collaborationCommunication skills

Required

Working knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD
Ability to produce accurate, neat and effective drawings
Familiarity with CAD standards

Preferred

Technical degree in computer-aided design (CAD)
Experience as a highway CAD technician
Experience with Geopack, Inroads. OpenRoads, OpenBridge, Civil 3D
Experience working with working in a team environment with good communications skills
Experience with using MS Office tools (Word and Excel), MS Teams and Bluebeam
