Responsibilities
Manage the end to end (source to contract) activities of assigned procurement projects to deliver maximum value for TAFE SA
Deliver a complex range of functions from an underpinning discipline knowledge
Operate as a member of a specialist, multi-disciplinary team
Work autonomously to provide high level procurement co-ordination, procurement and contract management services and expert advice across TAFE SA
Schedule and coordinate end-to-end procurement projects and programs
Develop acquisition plans, tender packages, specifications and evaluation criteria within legislative guidelines with limited direction
Prepare complex procurement documentation and reports
Effectively manage and coordinate contract risk management practices to ensure compliance, transparency, and robust governance across all procurement activities
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, resolve conflict, and negotiate complex and sensitive matters to achieve value-for-money, commercially sound and compliant outcomes
Understand State Government procurement frameworks, legislation, and governance requirements
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to schedule and coordinate end-to-end procurement projects and programs including the ability to develop acquisition plans, tender packages, specifications and evaluation criteria within legislative guidelines with limited direction
Demonstrated ability to prepare complex procurement documentation and reports, while effectively managing and coordinating contract risk management practices to ensure compliance, transparency, and robust governance across all procurement activities
Proven ability to schedule and coordinate procurement projects and programs including the ability to develop acquisition plans, tender packages, specifications and evaluation criteria within legislative guidelines with limited direction
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, resolve conflict, and negotiate complex and sensitive matters to achieve value-for-money, commercially sound and compliant outcomes
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment
Preferred
An understanding of State Government procurement frameworks, legislation, and governance requirements is desirable
