Responsibilities

Technical Sales & Customer Engagement
Own the entire technical evaluation process, including discovery, demos, POCs, architecture discussions, and technical close
Act as the primary technical contact for customers, working with security, IT, risk, compliance, and leadership teams
Deliver clear technical presentations to CISOs, IAM leaders, security teams, cloud teams, and executives
Travel for customer workshops, partner meetings, and onsite engagements as needed
Review and assess customer identity architectures, including:
SSO, MFA, federation (SAML, OIDC)
SCIM provisioning and directory synchronization
Privileged access paths, RBAC/ABAC models, and token handling
Identify risks such as:
Stale entitlements
Excessive or lingering privileged access
Shadow admins and unmanaged secrets
MFA gaps and policy misalignment
Guide customers on:
Zero Trust identity designs
Conditional access and adaptive authentication
Identity lifecycle management and JIT access
Incident response and governance alignment
Proof of Concepts & Architecture
Build and manage POCs, including:
Connectors and integrations
REST APIs, webhooks, and certificates
Session monitoring and privileged workflows
Run entitlement reviews, baseline user behavior, score risks, and map exposures across hybrid environments
Lead architecture discussions covering multi-cloud identity, telemetry correlation, and federation design
Partner with Sales on deal strategy, competitive positioning, and technical objections
Share real-world customer feedback with Product and Engineering teams
Support Marketing through webinars, solution briefs, and industry events

Required

7+ years in cybersecurity sales engineering, pre-sales, or enterprise solutions engineering
Strong understanding of IAM, PAM, CIEM, and identity governance
Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, conditional access, and adaptive authentication
Strong understanding of privileged access workflows and least-privilege models
Hands-on experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs
Hands-on experience with SCIM provisioning and identity lifecycle automation
Hands-on experience with AD / Entra ID, LDAP, Okta, Ping, Azure Identity
Knowledge of ITDR concepts (baselining, anomaly detection, identity drift)
Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, Cortex)
Knowledge of cloud identity models in AWS, Azure, and GCP
Comfortable working with REST APIs, JSON, token-based authentication, webhooks
Comfortable working with encryption, TLS 1.2/1.3, certificates, PKI, secrets management
Ability to build and customize demos
Ability to whiteboard architectures
Ability to clearly explain complex identity workflows to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred

Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, public sector)
Familiarity with CIEM, DSPM, EDR/XDR, micro-segmentation, or identity-centric threat modeling
