Project Support Specialist

ASRC Federal is a leading government contractor furthering missions in space, public health and defense. They are seeking a Project Support Specialist to provide a wide range of project support to the Project Formulation & Development Office at the Goddard Space Flight Center, including administrative tasks, coordination of meetings, and communication management.

Responsibilities

Track and respond to action items, maintain calendars/appointments, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics (agendas, attendees, conference rooms, call-in numbers, travel arrangements)
Prepare and review documents, provide technical editing, and maintain/update electronic files, records, and data with proper records management protocols
Serve as liaison between project offices, divisions, directorates, and headquarters to ensure effective communication of critical administrative actions and information
Attend and participate in staff meetings, capture and track actions, and follow up on requirements
Coordinate Monthly Project Review, Pre-MSR, and MSR presentation packages
Manage submissions of weekly and monthly project reports
Prepare correspondence, charts, and presentations
Serve as project conference/meeting coordinator and provide event planning and support for special events
Support development of internal and external communications including technical and public presentations, newsletter articles, papers for publications, technical responses, and briefs
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for routine business activities
Maintain and distribute team lists and organizational charts
Serve as property custodian for division government-furnished equipment; maintain property passes, conduct transfers/excess equipment actions, and manage periodic inventories (including non-controlled equipment)
Support personnel with IT equipment ordering and management, interfacing with EUSO services
Maintain office supply inventories
Manage office space; track room occupancy, ensure adequate and efficient allocation, and coordinate office moves (including ordering computers, phone transfers, furniture, and key requests)
Maintain directory of building occupants
Coordinate EUSO seats for project team personnel
Manage badging/onboarding actions and prepare requests in NASA's Identity and Access Management System (IdMAX) for proper credentials
Serve as execution support for the project manager; proactively support office rhythms, anticipate needs, and offer guidance to meet stakeholder expectations
Independently research and resolve unusual problems involving administrative or technical issues

Required

Experience in OCM with proven success in large-scale transformation initiatives
Strong understanding of change frameworks
Able to balance strategy development with hands-on execution
Experience creating measurable success metrics for change initiatives
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Proven customer service skills, with a proactive, responsive, and solution-oriented approach to customer requests
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional, with strong attention to accuracy and accountability
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, is preferred
Must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements
Must be able to pass a background investigation
Travel expected to be less than 10%
Bachelors degree and four or more years of related experience; or seven years or more of related experience in lieu of a degree
