Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or remote access tools
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop support issues related to Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
Manage computer management tasks including software installation, updates, and hardware configurations
Assist users with VPN setup, firewall configurations, and LAN connectivity problems
Utilize IT support tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to track incidents and service requests
Support IT infrastructure components including LANs, switches, routers, and other networking devices
Perform software troubleshooting for applications such as Microsoft Office suite and other enterprise tools
Maintain documentation of support activities and resolutions for future reference
Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution
Deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with end-users

Required

Proven experience in technical support or help desk roles within a corporate environment
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols
Hands-on experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and management
Proficiency in using IT support ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy
Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office applications and other common enterprise software
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

Preferred

Prior experience supporting IT infrastructure components such as switches, routers, and network cabling is preferred
