Responsibilities

Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to understand customer lead time requirements and incorporate into inventory strategy
Position Flygt lead times as a competitive advantage and enabler in achieving aggressive revenue growth targets
Manage Global Inventory Management (GIM) system parameters to ensure stocking levels are based on accurate demand and lead times
Make data-driven recommendations on inventory strategies (i.e. locations, resources, packaging, etc…)
Drive reduction on parts lead times used in aftermarket repairs. Work closely with Operations team to identify root cause and corrective actions of inventory delays
Provide inventory forecasts and variance analysis to Finance monthly
Support initiatives to minimize tariff exposure on N. American imports
Support new product introductions and market expansions with proactive inventory planning
Partner with IT and data teams to enhance inventory visibility and reporting tools
Support annual standard cost updates
Partner with DCs to identify slow movers and obsolete stock for returns, redistribution or scrapping
Partner with SIOP functions to incorporate forward looking forecasts into inventory requirements

Required

10+ years related experience working with international industrial manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; APICS or CPIM certification preferred
Strong working knowledge of Inventory concepts and best practices
Experience with Continuous Improvement projects and tools
Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate analysis to leadership
Strong leadership, supervisory, prioritization and communication skills (written and verbal) are necessary to help define, develop and enforce initiatives
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Quote for Service

Preferred

Previous experience managing a team is preferred
Prior experience in GIM and/or SAP preferred
