Responsibilities

Assist the Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel in representing the Company on all manner of legal matters

Support the Hope Business Development team in drafting and reviewing commercial documents

Draft, review, update vendor and other contracts and support the Hope Supply Chain team

Assist in merger and acquisition activities and relevant transactions

Support regulatory filings

Conduct legal research

Required

Be a member of a state bar in good standing and able to practice in-house in WV

Ability to strictly maintain confidentiality and be trusted with sensitive information

Contract drafting and review

A JD is required

A minimum of 8 years of experience in house or at a reputable law firm is required

Preferred

Transactional experience preferred

Commercial experience preferred

Real property / land use law experience preferred

Understanding of the energy/utility industry preferred

WV law license preferred
