Construction Management Intern - Summer 2026

Responsibilities
Support local client projects cost and schedule tracking
Quality management support
Document controls support
Closeout documentation and client project turnover
Reviewing RFIs and Submittals
Attending weekly project meetings and taking meeting minutes
Creating project schedules
Creating, and reviewing estimates and contractor proposals
Ensuring that schedule and budget are maintained within acceptable parameters
Assist in the day-to-day management of construction projects
Support the development and maintenance of project schedules
Help coordinate activities between contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Participate in site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications
Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses
Contribute to the preparation of progress reports and project documentation
Help manage and update project-related documents and drawings
Attend and contribute to project meetings with team members and clients
Assist in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures on-site
Help coordinate material deliveries and manage on-site inventory
Assist in reviewing and processing change orders and RFIs (Requests for Information)
Learn and apply relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Support the quality control process by conducting inspections and documenting findings
Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation
Contribute to the development of lessons learned and best practices
Engage in continuous learning to enhance construction management skills and knowledge
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or related degree
Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components
Willingness to travel occasionally for local project site visits or local client meetings
Valid driver's license
Must still be enrolled in college in order to be eligible for an internship
Preferred
Previous construction management experience
Previous experience working in a corporate engineering environment
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
