Surveillance & Access Control Technician

Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and monitor statewide networks, surveillance systems, access control, and facility-based technology
Support network devices, servers, storage solutions, workstations, and surveillance-specific hardware
Manage web filtering using Palo Alto and Zscaler, including issue mitigation and performance troubleshooting
Produce and maintain extensive system documentation and project tracking materials
Provide tactical and strategic input on systems planning and technology projects
Work independently across statewide locations, including secure sites, with frequent day travel
Utilize strong problem-solving, adaptability, and improvisation in dynamic field environments
Qualification
Required
Cisco Networking (Routers & Switches) – 3+ years
Web Filtering (Palo Alto, Zscaler) – 1–2 years
Video Surveillance Systems (Network/Server/Workstation) – 1–2 years
