Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, deployment, and closeout
Manage resource allocation, project schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
Collaborate closely with enterprise data architecture, analytics, reporting, and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Develop and maintain project management deliverables in compliance with established project delivery frameworks and governance standards
Establish and manage project roadmaps, timelines, and milestones; secure stakeholder approvals as needed
Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, reviews, and retrospectives
Oversee day-to-day project operations and cross-functional delivery teams, including vendors and external partners
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues appropriately and drive resolution
Communicate project status, risks, and progress clearly to leadership and executive stakeholders
Support procurement activities, including development of RFPs and vendor coordination when required
Contribute to initiatives involving data integration, analytics platforms, and reporting modernization
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
8+ years of hands-on IT project management experience
8+ years of experience working within the information technology industry
5+ years supporting data-focused initiatives, such as data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, business intelligence, SOA, or web-based enterprise systems
Active PMP certification (required)
Demonstrated experience managing the full Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Proven ability to lead Agile projects using Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Strong experience with project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise project documentation
Strong leadership skills, including team facilitation, mentoring, task assignment, and stakeholder management
Expert-level problem-solving, risk management, and issue resolution capabilities
Preferred
Prior experience in healthcare or public-sector environments
Experience managing multi-agency or multi-department IT initiatives
Familiarity with data governance or enterprise data management frameworks
Experience working with access & eligibility systems or similar large-scale public programs
Background managing vendors and distributed teams in a matrixed environment
