Salesforce Product Manager (Part- Time)

Climate Lead is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Salesforce Product Manager to support the development of specific features in their Salesforce ecosystem. This role involves managing Salesforce implementation projects and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the Philanthropic Advising team's business processes.

Responsibilities

Directly manage a portfolio of Salesforce implementation projects through the full project lifecycle including: gathering feedback, preparing requirements in user story format, scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation, and training
Manage project scope and budget, anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and lead proactive solutions to keep project on track
Develop and maintain project plans in Asana
Manage project documentation, communications, deliverables, and partner engagements
Collaborate with implementation partner on solution design to ensure technical builds meet business needs
Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements
Document technical process workflows and research solutions needed for system enhancements
Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, process flow diagrams, and other requirement documentation needed to communicate needs and scope to implementation partner
Manage prioritization and backlog of user stories for specific projects
Proactively communicate with internal project stakeholders
Serve as primary point of contact for implementation partner for assigned projects
In partnership with Associate Director, Business Systems, assign work items to implementation partner and approve time estimates
Test changes delivered by implementation partner
Lead internal testing of newly developed features and coordinate User Acceptance Testing
Partner with Salesforce Administrator to develop end-user documentation and lead training sessions to ensure high system adoption

Required

2+ years of experience working with Salesforce platform required
Experience supporting technology at a nonprofit organization is required
3-5 years of Product Management or Business Analyst experience, specifically within nonprofit fundraising or philanthropic advising for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) preferred

Preferred

Familiarity with Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack), prospect research tools, and relationship mapping tools
Proven track record of managing external implementation partners and delivering projects on schedule
Ability to bridge the gap between technical developers and non-technical relationship managers
Strong experience in data architecture and creating reports/dashboards that reflect sophisticated business KPIs
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment while managing multiple competing priorities
Experience with Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack), Salesforce Activities, prospect research tools, and relationship mapping tools preferred
