Responsibilities
Contributes to high quality, patient-centered care by coordinating the facility-wide Patient Safety Program, working towards the goal of eliminating avoidable harm
In collaboration with the Patient Safety Committee, organizes and operationalizes process improvement initiatives at unit, service line, or facility level
Uses clinical expertise to identify and evaluate activities or events which present opportunities to improve the safe provision of services within the facility
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree
3+ years clinical experience
Preferred
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science or Advanced Degree in Healthcare Related Field
3+ years experience in acute care nursing
Experience in Quality/Patient Safety/Risk
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
Certification in Patient Safety
