Responsibilities
Help validate and review data within accounting systems
Collaborate with team members on special projects as assigned
Assist with SOX and internal audit procedures, including testing of SOX key controls and assisting with operational and financial audits
Conduct interviews with process owners/key stakeholders, walkthroughs, fieldwork testing, providing evidence of audit work and documentation in the form of working papers in accordance with standards
Provide support to external auditors as needed
Assist in improving documentation in audit system and tracking of deficiencies and management follow up
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate or graduate university student
3.0/4.0 GPA minimum

Texas state resident; preferably located in Houston
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred
Previous experience in relevant field is a plus
