Responsibilities
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and period-end adjustments
Prepare and validate financial statements and supporting schedules for U.S. operations
Develop and review balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, intercompany balances, AR, AP, and payroll
Manage financial consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation
Oversee fixed asset and capital expenditure accounting, including CIP, capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking
Support inventory and cost accounting activities, including reconciliations, cycle counts, BOM reviews, and variance analysis
Manage customer billing processes and oversee accounts receivable and collections to support cash flow
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits and ensure SOX compliance
Coordinate with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders on tax filings and statutory requirements
Prepare internal management reporting, including recurring summaries and detailed variance analysis for revenue, COGS, and operating expenses
Identify opportunities to improve internal controls, streamline accounting processes, and support ERP/system enhancement initiatives
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc financial analysis as requested by leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
6+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance
Experience with consolidations and financial reporting in a multi-entity environment
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally and present financial information clearly
Preferred
Master's degree or MBA
CPA
Prior public accounting and audit experience
ERP system experience
