Responsibilities
Review and assess the month end close and reporting functions. Identify areas to streamline and improve controls, processes, and document new procedures
Work closely with senior leadership to develop long term strategy for the organization
Review and assess systems used (ERP and reporting software) in the accounting and analysis functions
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget
Train and mentor the accounting and financial staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
CPA or MBA is required
8+ years heading up the accounting and reporting functions is required
Prior experience working closely with senior leadership and training and mentoring an accounting & financial team is required
Preferred
Prior experience with non-profit accounting
