Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations and oversee workload, priorities, and deadlines for the accounting team
Support monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, close schedules, and supporting documentation
Prepare and maintain key balance sheet reconciliations and accounting schedules
Support lease and portfolio accounting, including originations, modifications, income recognition, and allowances
Assist with audit preparation, compliance activities, and maintenance of accounting policies and controls
Support management reporting, budgeting schedules, and cross-functional information requests
Identify and support process improvements to enhance close efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support
Proven people management and coaching capability
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Preferred
Equipment finance or leasing accounting experience strongly preferred
