The Lighting Designer will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative lighting and control designs, collaborating with architects and interior designers to meet aesthetic and functional requirements for various projects.

Responsibilities
Developing and implementing innovative lighting and control designs
Creating lighting and control strategies
Conducting luminaire research
Collaborating with architects and interior designers
Ensuring aesthetic and functional requirements of lighting systems are met for new and renovated projects
Reviewing standards, codes, and specifications to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Lighting Design with experience creating innovative and functional lighting solutions for a variety of interior and exterior space types
Knowledge of Lighting Control systems and their integration into design projects
Familiarity with Architectural, Interior Design and Landscape Architectural principles to complement project aesthetics and functionality
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, architects, and project teams
Proficiency in relevant design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, AGi32, Bluebeam, InDesign
Proficiency in relevant office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote
Understanding of industry standards, building codes, and sustainability principles
Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Certification or experience within the lighting industry is advantageous
