Responsibilities
Support the management of Walmart’s end-to-end beef supply chain by coordinating inventory and transportation flows across multiple manufacturing facilities
Collaborate with Walmart-owned and operated beef manufacturing facilities as well as external partners, including facilities that serve customers outside of Walmart’s retail network
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners
Analyze production, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Assist with reporting, performance tracking, and data-driven decision making related to production and supply chain execution
Help identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, service levels, and overall supply chain performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field OR 2 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field
Strong analytical skills with an interest in using data to drive decisions
Ability and willingness to learn complex systems and processes
Ambition to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility over time
Clear communicator who can work effectively across teams and with external partners
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Interest in food manufacturing, agriculture, and large-scale supply chain operations
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, Agricultural Business, Technology and ERP Systems, or a related field OR 1+ year of relevant work experience (internships, co-ops, or early career roles preferred but not required)
Foundational understanding of supply chain concepts such as production planning, inventory management, transportation, and manufacturing operations
Experience or comfort working with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar)
Exposure to ERP or planning systems is a plus
Data modelling, data analytics, and data management
Experience in procurement, including strategic sourcing processes and reporting
Microsoft Office - Excel
