Responsibilities
Supports the processing of bi-weekly payroll, in multiple states, for exempt and not-exempt personnel
Ensures accurate calculation of wages, tax withholding, and company deductions
Reviews, analyzes and verifies payroll reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections based on established procedures. Accurate preparation, documentation, and distribution of payroll via the payroll system
Answers questions and provides payroll related support; Responds verbally or in writing to inquiries to all payroll inquires
Reviews and enters payroll transactions such as garnishments, field job bonuses, and related data
Prepares reports and analyses for management as requested
Processes employment verifications
Performs other duties as requested or assigned
Qualification
Required
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
Work Experience: 0-2 years
Related Experience: Relevant clerical and payroll experience
Proficiency with Excel
Preferred
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Degree Field (s): Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
Work Experience: 2-4 years
Related Experience: Relevant clerical and payroll experience in Ceridian Dayforce
