Manager, Compensation Business Partner

Responsibilities

Provides strategic leadership in designing, evaluating, and implementing enterprise-wide compensation programs
Ensures compensation strategies that are competitive, equitable, compliant, and supportive of a high-performing, mission-driven workforce
Builds credibility and confidence with leaders by translating organizational needs into effective pay solutions
Manages a team of Compensation Program Managers and analysts
Serves as a strategic advisor to executives, HR partners, and Talent Acquisition
Ensures Sentara’s compensation programs support the attraction, development, and retention of top talent across clinical and non‑clinical roles

Required

Bachelor's degree
5 years progressive compensation experience
healthcare background strongly preferred
Expertise in base pay, incentive design, physician/executive compensation, market pricing, job evaluation
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into leader-friendly insights

Preferred

Master's degree
Certifications (CCP, CECP, GRP)
