Responsibilities
Provide accurate, timely, and proactive customer service to the company’s clients as well as effectively communicate and coordinate with internal departments and third parties to meet customer needs
Process simple and complex freight forwarding services, while following all government regulations and abiding by company policies and procedures
Obtain service quotations and optimize costs
Arrange timely and accurate scheduling of hazardous and non-hazardous ocean and/or air bookings
Coordinate customs brokerage
Ensure the complete and timely transfer of cargo (pick up, delivery, etc.)
Prepare, assemble, and process shipment documentation and billing through the company’s designated system(s) and obtain any required shipment release(s)
