Responsibilities
Contribute inventive electrical design ideas to R&D projects
Lead or support initiatives aligned with time, cost, and quality objectives
Coordinate prototype manufacturing and testing activities
Design and execute experiments to validate technical solutions
Document project progress and develop design rules from findings
Participate in intellectual property discussions and risk evaluations
Provide technical support to factories, marketing teams, and customers
Collaborate with global R&D peers to optimize electrical designs
Support cost‑out initiatives and design portfolio development for the South Boston location
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally within transformers
R&D experience in a business or industrial environment is beneficial
Strong communication skills and a creative, solution‑oriented mindset
Preferred
Knowledge of magnetic, dielectric, or thermal design preferred
Familiarity with FEM or 2D circuit‑simulation tools is advantageous
