Information Technology Operations Manager

Robert Half is seeking an Information Technology Operations Manager who will be responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused IT services. Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact between practice stakeholders and IT service and technical teams
Lead daily IT operations for the practice, including oversight of service requests, incident response, and escalated issues
Ensure timely communication, coordination, and resolution of critical or high-priority IT incidents
Deliver exceptional, white-glove customer service to clinical and administrative users
Lead and support technical initiatives and projects aligned with practice and enterprise objectives
Partner with Central IT to improve local service delivery processes, procedures, and operational efficiency
Provide regular updates and clear communication to practice leadership throughout technology incidents and project lifecycles
Ensure adherence to enterprise IT standards, service management processes, SLAs, and performance metrics
Collaborate with the Director of IT Practice Strategy to evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions
Support enterprise clinical technology initiatives, including new clinic openings and practice expansions
Train, mentor, and manage local IT staff supporting the practice
Perform additional duties as needed to support mission and operational goals

Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and delivering effective IT solutions
Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory, security, and privacy requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in incident and problem management
Ability to identify service gaps and step in as needed to ensure resolution and continuity
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong leadership, judgment, and decision-making capabilities
Broad knowledge of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and networking
Experience with Active Directory administration and group policy management
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and identity services
Experience with Windows Server environments, virtualization, and storage systems
Experience with VMware and Remote Desktop Services
Experience with VOIP and telephony platforms
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or operations
At least 3 years of experience in an IT leadership or management role

Preferred

Zoom Phone experience
Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or a related field
Prior healthcare IT experience strongly preferred
