Vice President of Sales

Responsibilities

Foster professional relationships in targeted PE firms
Understand PE firms requirements for each of their portcos (both strategic direction and annual targets)
Continuously engage new PE firms and secure a target number of intro meetings with portcos
Consistently display leadership characteristics within SEG sales team, mentor and partner in sales process as needed
Re-engage at the PE firm level when a sales deal fails to advance with a portco
Clearly articulate SEG value proposition
Complete all business processes within applicable technology platforms
Must work effectively within a team
Must be coachable and have a desire to learn
Meet production requirements as defined by EVP
Be motivated by clear long-term dreams and understands how to leverage professional success to achieve them
Take pride in the level of endurance needed to consistently grow, personally and professionally
Possess a true and obvious hunter mentality that “grabs the reins” with leadership
Consistently show an unrelenting desire to WIN
Consistently demonstrates the art of persuasion and is creative in their thought process and sales approach
Strong ability to negotiate

Must be available for at least 30% travel

Required

4-6 years of prior managed services sales experience within private equity
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Able to effectively utilize computer programs including Word and Excel and agency management system
Able to work within a fast-paced team environment while performing primarily sedentary work (i.e. sitting at a computer terminal for long periods of time)
Excellent customer service, time management, and prioritization skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in person and via phone
Must work effectively within a team
Must be coachable and have a desire to learn
Meet production requirements as defined by EVP
Must be available for at least 30% travel
