Responsibilities
Utilize estimating software and tools such as On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and Excel to prepare professional, accurate bids across projects of varying size and scope
Perform scope analysis verification, pre-bid walkthroughs, and post-award on-site evaluations
Create detailed and accurate proposals, including scope of work, clarifications, and exclusions
Cultivate and maintain client relationships to win bids and drive business growth through strong communication and follow-up
Collaborate with Project Managers during hand-off meetings to support blue sheets, production schedules, material takeoffs, and schedules of values
Support additional divisions as business needs require
Qualification
Required
3+ years of estimating experience in commercial or industrial painting, construction, or a closely related industry
5+ years of hands-on commercial painting experience with a strong understanding of coatings and application methods
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans
Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and/or Bluebeam
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills; able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort interacting directly with customers by phone, email, and in person
