Responsibilities
Supports the Regional Vice President by overseeing regional operations, resolving contract issues, and ensuring strong municipal retention
Develops and improves processes, procedures, and operational projects to boost productivity, service quality, and overall performance
Builds and maintains key relationships with city and county officials to secure, retain, and transition municipal contracts
Guides Division Managers and supervisors through training, coaching, KPI management, and understanding P&L drivers to strengthen operational effectiveness
Acts as a consultative industry expert for clients, handles escalated municipal concerns, and ensures high internal and external customer satisfaction
Promotes community engagement and ensures full execution of regional safety programs while supporting sales goals and operational initiatives
Qualification
Required
Holds a BA/BS in business or equivalent experience, with a strong background in management or supervisory roles within the waste industry
Proven leader with the ability to build effective teams and drive strategic, consultative process improvements
Exceptional communicator with strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities
Adaptable professional with a polished demeanor and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experienced in developing sales‑growth strategies, managing costs, analyzing financial performance, pricing, and maintaining strong client relationships
Willing and able to travel extensively across a defined regional territory
