Responsibilities
As a systems engineer for CWL, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the system engineering and functional design of the system under development, addressing topics such as payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, weapon simulation, message exchanges, user interfaces, and cybersecurity
As a member of the system engineering team, the candidate will help ensure functional and technical specifications and standards are complete and accurate, delivered as required to support customer review and approval, to support system development and test
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time from hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree
At least 5 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably defense related
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux or embedded operating systems
