Responsibilities

Own and manage enterprise licensing for secure print/scan and related platform components, including license forecasting, procurement coordination, renewals, true-ups, and compliance
Maintain license inventory and entitlement records; track utilization and adoption to optimize spending and prevent service disruption
Partner with Procurement, Finance, Vendor Management, and Cybersecurity to ensure licensing aligns to contractual terms, security requirements, and deployment plans
Support vendor relationships for licensing (support contracts, maintenance, renewal negotiations, and audit responses)
Serve as the technical lead/system administrator for an enterprise secure print release (pull print/follow-me print) solution in classified enclaves
Design and implement secure scanning workflows (e.g., scan-to-approved network destinations) with MFA-based user authentication and strong auditing
Integrate the secure print/scan solution with enterprise identity services (e.g., Active Directory, group-based access control), certificate services/PKI where applicable, and MFA mechanisms approved for the environment
Engineer, configure, and maintain print infrastructure, which may include: Print management platform(s), print servers, queues, driver packaging/standardization, and high availability where required
Multifunction device (MFD) onboarding: configuration baselines, firmware coordination, and feature lockdown aligned to policy
Implement and maintain security controls for print/scan, including least privilege, segmentation, secure protocols, encryption where applicable, secure job storage and release, and audit logging
Build repeatable deployment patterns (install standards, automation/scripts, packaging, configuration as code where feasible) and produce documentation (implementation plans, SOPs, admin guides, user quick starts)
Perform hands-on system administration duties supporting the service: Windows Server administration, GPO management, patching, monitoring, backups/restore testing, certificate lifecycle considerations, and incident triage
Coordinate testing, pilot, and phased rollout with stakeholders; develop cutover plans and post-deployment validation
Troubleshoot complex issues across client endpoints, servers, network paths, MFDs, authentication flows, and print/scan applications—driving problems to root cause and corrective action
Ensure solutions remain compliant over time by supporting audits, vulnerability remediation, and continuous improvement in alignment with site security requirements
Evaluate existing systems and plan long-term strategies
