Responsibilities
Assist Production Coordinator with various projects, including but not limited to: sample management, creating and formatting Excel charts, updating WIP, formatting linesheets, analyzing seasonal SKUs, maintaining seasonal material composition chart, filing SMS to bulk fabrics and trims, etc
Assist studio manager with incoming parcels. Help check-in production samples as they are delivered
Prepare for production fittings by logging samples into WIP, steaming garments, measuring garments, filling pin cushions, etc
Help organize and maintain the production fit area, and sample closet
Create, organize, and maintain seasonal production fabric and trim binders from SMS to bulk production
Prepare, and pickup or drop-off materials from our vendors in Midtown
Assist Studio Manager and Production Coordinator arrange shipments to factories
Assist Technical Design Team as needed
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate Junior or Senior or graduate with a degree in: Fashion Design, Management, Production, or Technical Design
Available 2-5 days a week from 10:00am-6:00pm
Positive attitude, self-starter, works with a sense of urgency
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills. Knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Suite: Office and Excel
Preferred
Garment spec'ing skills a plus
