National Product Manager, Orthopedics

Responsibilities
Deliver qualified independent sales agent prospects to Regional Directors of Sales (DOS) to consider for exclusive sales agent role
Support DOSs in onboarding new sales agents and representatives with product training
Support DOSs via regular in person and virtual sales & product training for current sales representatives
Promote best practices for sales processes throughout the sales department
Represent Kinamed at trade shows to connect with surgeons and sales representatives
Cover training events at cadaver labs and workshops for surgeons and sales representatives
Cover surgeries as needed for new surgeon-users
In partnership with the DOS and Sales Administration Manager, pursue and support the issuance of hospital contracts (single hospital and multi-hospital agreements) when and where it will accelerate sales growth and customer commitment
Provide feedback to supervisor with regards to the market, selling strategies, surgeon and agent comments, etc. that are relevant and important to the success of the company and its products
Respond to Management’s requests for feedback and completion of regular reporting in a timely manner
Immediately report any expression of dissatisfaction from customer with regards to the company’s products to allow Quality Assurance to promptly investigate. Collect data pertinent to Quality Assurance’s investigation at the time of the first report of customer dissatisfaction
Regular travel throughout the USA (10-15days per month)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with minimum 1 year Orthopedic OR experience in either a selling or clinical role
Experience selling medical devices to Orthopedic Surgeons
Computer proficient, particularly with programs such as Excel, Word, and CRM packages
Strong multi-tasking abilities
Energetic and organized with multi-tasking abilities
Ability to function autonomously with little supervision
Willingness to work flexible schedule and overnight travel
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong work ethic and excellent people skills
Makes decisions independently and can logically support recommendations and decisions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must communicate clearly, through both verbal and written means
Must have valid driver license, current auto insurance coverage, and be insurable under Kinamed's auto policy
Physical ability to travel (fly and drive) 15 days per month
Physical ability to lift equipment, shipping cases, setup exhibit material at trade shows
Must be able to travel extensively throughout the USA to meet and work with sales agents and customers
Must be able to operate a computer to perform job function
Must be capable of understanding and following safety precautions
Must have verifiable health certifications enabling access to hospitals and ASCs throughout the region
