IT CS Configuration Analyst I
Georgia Farm Bureau is seeking an IT CS Configuration Analyst I to assist with the development of configuration standards and best practices for maintaining system efficiency and integration. The role involves configuring and maintaining Core System builds, analyzing business specifications, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities
Assist with the development of configuration standards and best practice guides for maintaining efficiency, accuracy, automation and successful integration with internal Core Systems as well as external systems and programs
Configure and maintain moderately complex Core System builds with multi-tiered functionality and interrelated system dependencies using configuration management tools and supporting technologies such as: SQL, XML, XSLT, Python, Kornshell
Establish, maintain and support configuration management system releases according to iteration baselines to support mission critical software solutions for the company
Analyze and translate business specifications into detailed technical specifications based on system functionality, and develop non-systematic workaround processes when necessary
Identify and communicate impact of system enhancements or configuration changes on integrated systems and processes
Interface with cross functional system developers to provide solutions to a variety of technical challenges
Ability to use tools in our development environment: DBVisualizer, SmartBear, PyCharm, Stylus Studio, PuTTY, Dynatrace
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with assistance as necessary in any of the company’s applications that the team is responsible for
Perform other related duties as assigned and necessary
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
At least 6 months of paid work experience as a configuration analyst, a software developer or a business analyst
A working knowledge of two or more of the following: Configuration Management Tools, SQL, XML, XSLT, Python, Kornshell
Good communication skills required
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required
Excellent telephone, public relations and oral/written communication skills are required
Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
Must possess basic skills with computers including experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint
Familiar with typical company web-based system applications
Experience using Configuration Management Tools, DB Visualizer or other comparable IDEs required
The employee must be able to organize and prioritize work in order to keep projects on schedule and deliver work on time
Must have knowledge of office administration procedures and able to operate most standard office equipment
The employee must pay attention to detail in composing and proofing materials
Must be self-motivated with initiative and ability to make decisions and accept responsibility
Be flexible to respond to unexpected situations that require immediate attention
Preferred
Working knowledge of relational databases is highly preferred
