Responsibilities
System Administration: Manage, maintain, and optimize client IT environments, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms
VxRail Setup and Support: Design, deploy, and troubleshoot VxRail hyper-converged infrastructure solutions to ensure seamless client operations
Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor system performance, implement updates, and address potential issues proactively
Client Support: Act as a technical resource for clients, resolving escalated issues efficiently and professionally
Security: Ensure system security through best practices, regular updates, and adherence to compliance requirements
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of system configurations, procedures, and client interactions
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to implement solutions, share knowledge, and achieve project goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3–5 years in a System Administrator role, preferably in an MSP environment
Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
Expertise in server hardware, storage systems, and networking
Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
Knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred
Relevant IT certifications are a plus (e.g., VMware, Dell EMC, Microsoft, CompTIA)
