Responsibilities
Conduct legal research on insurance regulations, corporate law, and compliance requirements
Review agreements, including non-disclosure and vendor agreements
Assist in drafting legal memoranda and internal reports
Support the maintenance of contract templates and corporate governance initiatives
Help prepare materials for board and committee meetings
Draft and review board meeting minutes and consents
Attend legal and business meetings to gain exposure to corporate decision-making
Provide ad hoc support on special projects as assigned
Collaborate with team members to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Currently enrolled in an accredited law school
1L student pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional setting
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges
Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity
Preferred
Academic coursework in legal research, writing, or related areas
Prior legal or professional experience is helpful but not required
