Landscape Architecture Studio Lead

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for Boston, including building a landscape architecture and urban design practice that serves New England
Relate the AECOM vision to clients and community needs in New England and advocate for design excellence
Build client relationships, pre-position for opportunities, and secure a portfolio of work that aligns with growth objectives
Contribute to AECOM’s 'think and act globally' philosophy by creating a culture of innovation and collaboration
Proactively focus on team building, talent development, retention, and recruiting
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Landscape Architecture + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Licensed Landscaped Architect
A minimum of 2 years' leadership experience
U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review
U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work
Preferred
A minimum of 12 years' experience leading complex landscape architecture projects
Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
Licensed Landscaped Architect (In New England states is Preferred)
Deep knowledge of the marketplace and industry trends in New England with national reach
Experience practicing landscape architecture and urban design in New England and for municipal, county, or state clients, as well as institutional, higher ed and transportation entities
Experience and skill in strategic business development, client interviews and relationship building, and driving sales and revenue
Experiencing interfacing with project delivery teams on scope of work development, budget and schedule, and client satisfaction
A strong desire to train, mentor, and develop staff to grow their careers and the business
