Director Human Resources Information Technology

The Sr. Director, HR Operations is responsible for leading comprehensive Benefits, Compensation, HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Payroll services, ensuring compliance and service excellence while collaborating with senior leadership and internal teams to attract and retain top talent.

Responsibilities
Lead and execute with excellence on HR services including Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, Payroll
Direct the administration of employee benefits programs including health and welfare plans, 401(k), worker’s compensation, leave management, and wellness initiatives
Partner with our broker and other leaders to ensure employee benefit programs are aligned with Company strategy
Lead the compensation and incentives strategy; develop and manage guidelines and processes for the Company
Ensure benefits processes for open enrollment, new hire onboarding, life events, and offboarding are seamless and documented
Manage HR vendors and ensure accurate transmission of data to third parties
Own HR and Payroll compliance (SOX controls, ACA, ERISA notices, 5500 completions, OSHA Reporting, W-2s, payroll tax filings, etc.) Ensure reporting and filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements
Drive the HR technology strategy to ensure alignment with the broader HR and business roadmap
Recommend and implement solutions that enhance the delivery of HR services, elevate the employee experience, and enable data-informed talent decisions
Develop scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes
Provide reporting and analytics to leaders and internal partners
Lead the optimization and ongoing management of the HRIS (Workday) to ensure it meets organizational needs
Oversee payroll with a focus on role definition, documenting procedures and auditing compliance with federal, state and local laws and company policies
Implement policies to ensure compliance with HR regulations, including discrimination, safety and labor laws, pay equity, and data security initiatives
Create, audit and maintain job descriptions
Coordinate external audits
Stay up to date with wage and hour laws and tax regulations
Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify the needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases; recommend and implement solutions
Provide training and support to Human Resources team members on Workday processes and reporting
Provide tools and training to managers and employees on Workday functionality
Lead / participate in HR projects and implementations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or equivalent experience required
10+ years of HRIS, Total Rewards and Payroll experience required
Must have at least 2 years of Workday experience, with deep knowledge in managing the processes and making improvements for end users
5+ years of supervisory experience
High integrity, confidentiality, fairness, ethics, and good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
High proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
Detail-oriented with excellent people skills; able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
