Responsibilities
Analyze derivatives strategies and public fixed income portfolio positioning
Create and evaluate peer comparison analyses across investment strategies
Assist with researching and developing potential portfolio adjustments or new initiatives
Support problem-solving and research efforts related to investment analysis
Contribute to a capstone project showcasing your work and insights gained during the internship
Collaborate with team members across the Investments department
Take on additional projects as needed to support departmental and company objectives
Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior at an accredited university
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or similar discipline
Coursework or academic experience related to investments, finance, or financial analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Initiative and eagerness to learn in a professional setting
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Comfort working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Adaptability and openness to feedback
Alignment with EquiTrust's core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and passion
Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs.)
Ability to communicate effectively and use hands for fine manipulation
Preferred
Familiarity with public fixed income, derivatives, or other asset classes is a plus but not required
