Business Program Manager

The University of Colorado Anschutz Campus is seeking a Business Program Manager to join the Community Epidemiology and Program Evaluation Group (CEPEG). Responsibilities

Liaise with CEPEG Director and Assistant Director to monitor center activities, new and existing projects, Scopes of Work, strategic planning, and other activities relevant to center operations and finance
Manage and procure supplies, equipment, and procurement card support for staff, including purchasing and inventorying equipment (hardware and software) and consumables, procurement card purchases, and reimbursements for mileage, travel, and transportation
Work with CEPEG leadership to draft and submit new grant and project budgets
Oversee the timely processing of grant applications, progress reports, carry forward requests, and other documents required by funding organizations
Track monthly billings by speedtype; reconcile with the university’s accounting system monthly and correct and/or adjust as necessary
Assist in staff recruitment, including creating and circulating job descriptions, providing administrative support for hiring Chairs and committees, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, etc
Maintain a working knowledge of university fiscal, personnel, and procurement policies, and serve as CEPEG’s central resource for policy questions
Develop and distribute communications across center teams regarding funding, staff issues, policy changes, process, personnel, growth, etc

Required

A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, public administration, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
4-6 years of professional experience in working in a business operation, budget, financial and/or grant management role

Preferred

At least 2 years of experience with University of Colorado fiscal policies and procedures
At least 2 years of experience working with CU Data, Marketplace, and Concur
3-5 years of experience managing (>$1M) budgets and coordinating financial activities and post-award grant administration
