Responsibilities
Manage project accounting activities including job setup, cost tracking, and closeout
Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability
Review and reconcile job cost reports and related schedules
Support billing processes, including progress billing and change orders
Partner with project managers to provide financial insights and cost analysis
Ensure accurate reporting in accordance with company policies and industry standards
Assist with month-end close and related reconciliations
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in construction or project accounting required
Strong understanding of job cost accounting and WIP reporting
Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Sage 300 experience highly preferred
