Responsibilities
Supports and adheres to all safety requirements
Responsible for maintenance and improvement of the electrical system within Roquette
Knowledge and understanding of DCS (Distributed Control System) and PLC
Works safely with up to 480-volt equipment on controls portions
Working knowledge of motor starters, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), control valves, KV valves, BMS (Burner Management Systems), meters, switches, transmitters, and other control-related devices
Performs in-depth testing and validation of control devices using a volt-ohmmeter, megger, amp meter, 475 field communicator, and other test and configuration equipment
Assists in minimizing inventory costs through standardization and reducing unnecessary stock
Assists in the selection of the most reliable hardware and wiring methods
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Two (2) year technical degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in utility or industrial electrical and controls systems
Experience with preventative maintenance calibrations and installation of various instrumentations
Demonstrated understanding of 3 phase motor control starters
Knowledge and understanding of DCS (Distributed Control System) and PLC
Works safely with up to 480-volt equipment on controls portions
Working knowledge of motor starters, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), control valves, KV valves, BMS (Burner Management Systems), meters, switches, transmitters, and other control-related devices
