Responsibilities
Leads Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning activities to ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled
Responsible for the timely, cost-effective Procurement of production materials and coordinating global sourcing efforts
Develops and maintains SKU Management and Inventory Management systems to reduce costs and maintain inventory at minimum acceptable levels
Manages the phase-out of EOL (End of Life) hardware and seamless transition to next-generation solutions while minimizing inventory write-offs
Coordinates with partners regarding Manufacturing activities and production control systems to ensure high-quality metrics
Manages activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, and product delivery specifications. Maintains strong working relationships with global supply chain partners and external vendors
Manages comprehensive distribution functions, including logistics planning, traffic coordination, and outbound operations
Manages the RMA process and related project tracking to ensure efficient hardware lifecycle management
Designs and implements business metrics for reporting, monitoring, and tracking sourcing project progress
Balance daily execution with long-term resilience; proactively manages global lead times and diversifies sourcing for critical components to eliminate single-point-of-failure risks
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the supply chain function
Works closely with finance/accounting on inventory-carrying costs and with Account Executive/CSM teams to ensure timely issue resolution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Analyst, Coordinator, Manager, Procurement, Inventory, Demand Planning, Program, or Project Management roles
OR 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Analyst, Coordinator, Manager, Procurement, Inventory, Demand Planning, Program, or Project Management roles
B.S. Business Management, Supply Chain Management, MIS, or equivalent work experience
8+ years previous experience in Supply Chain Analyst, Coordinator, Manager, Procurement, Inventory, Demand Planning, Program, or Project Management roles
CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, Six Sigma related certifications and experience
Knowledge of retail industry related applications, CCTV, LP, Security
A general understanding of hardware and video security solutions
An analytical mind that can adapt to the current environment, find ways to improve, and think outside of the box
Innovative spirit that invites collaboration and fosters strong customer, partner, and internal relationships
Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels
Ability to work as part of a team to solve business problems in complex selling and political environments
