Responsibilities

Receives and routes incoming/outgoing calls to the appropriate departments or clinics
Initiates all emergency codes and follows through until the appropriate team is activated, or the code is cancelled by the appropriate personnel
Updates the on-call schedules on the MetroHealth Information Village intranet site (MIV) as directed by the departments
Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System

Qualification

Call center experienceHospital experienceTask follow-throughCommunication skills

Required

HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam
2 years of console and/or call center experience that includes handling large call volumes
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to follow through on different tasks

Preferred

Previous hospital experience
