Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and support applications built on the .NET framework (C#/.NET)
Provide senior-level troubleshooting and support for production applications, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
Own application-level diagnostics, performance tuning, and system reliability improvements
Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve complex engineering and data-related issues
Demonstrate deep, hands-on mastery of Microsoft SQL Server, with extensive experience in SQL development and advanced T-SQL programming
Design, write, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers used in high-volume, production environments
Perform advanced query optimization and performance tuning, including execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and deadlock resolution
Strong experience with transaction management, isolation levels, and concurrency control
Develop and maintain SSIS packages for complex ETL and data integration workflows
Design and support SSRS reports, including parameterized, performance-optimized reporting solutions
Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability across SQL Server–based systems
Troubleshoot complex data issues involving large datasets, integrations, and mission-critical workflows
Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert for .NET and SQL Server–based systems
Identify recurring issues and architectural gaps; propose and implement scalable, long-term solutions
Drive continuous improvement across code quality, performance, monitoring, and operational processes
Lead documentation efforts, including system architecture, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles
Own production support workflows, including intake, prioritization, escalation, and resolution of technical issues
Monitor application health, analyze trends, and generate operational and performance metrics
Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Lead a strong problem-solving culture, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions
Leverage AI coding and productivity tools effectively, including prompt engineering, to accelerate troubleshooting, analysis, and solution development
Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools as needed
Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client environment, with the ability to break down large, complex initiatives into manageable, executable tasks
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on .Net and Microsoft SQL Server experience, with a strong emphasis on T-SQL development
Proven experience building and maintaining complex stored procedures and performance-critical SQL code
Strong experience with SSIS and SSRS
Demonstrated ability to act as a SQL subject matter expert within an engineering team
Experience supporting production systems in a high-availability or customer-facing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven ability to work independently, own systems end-to-end, and provide technical leadership
Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
A passion for engineering excellence, system reliability, and continuous improvement
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
