Responsibilities
Lead security reviews of iOS application architecture and design, ensuring secure-by-default patterns
Perform security-focused code reviews for iOS and backend services
Own and operate static and dynamic analysis for mobile applications
Drive mobile vulnerability management, from discovery through remediation
Conduct threat modeling for new features and existing systems
Embed security into the secure development lifecycle for mobile teams
Secure APIs consumed and exposed by the mobile application
Partner on cloud security for mobile backend infrastructure, including IAM and least-privilege access
Support incident response related to mobile applications
Evaluate, deploy, and manage mobile security tooling
Provide hands-on guidance and training to engineers on secure coding practices
Communicate security posture, risks, and progress to senior security leadership
Qualification
Required
8+ years in security engineering, with a strong focus on application or product security
5+ years securing mobile applications, with deep iOS experience
Strong understanding of iOS platform security, mobile threat models, and common vulnerabilities
Proficiency in Swift (3+ years) and familiarity with iOS tooling and build environments
Backend experience with Node.js and API-driven systems
Experience securing cloud-based mobile backends, including IAM and access controls
Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST for mobile applications
Experience operating in CI/CD and DevSecOps environments
Ability to automate security tasks using scripting or tooling
Comfortable leading initiatives and influencing engineering teams
Preferred
Mobile penetration testing experience
Experience integrating security into mobile CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to AI-powered features or securing AI components in a product
Familiarity with common security certifications
Experience using modern AI coding tools to accelerate development
