Responsibilities

Build and maintain a strong new business pipeline through targeted lead generation, including cold outreach, online prospecting platforms and industry events
Identify, pursue and close new client relationships through proactive business development efforts within the IT staffing market
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive new logo acquisition, revenue growth and market expansion
Research prospective clients and market segments, analyze industry trends, and monitor competitive activity to uncover and prioritize new opportunities
Represent the Prosum brand and value proposition by leading consultative discovery conversations — uncovering challenges related to talent retention and workforce needs and clearly articulating how Prosum’s solutions address those needs
Navigate complex buying processes by engaging internal and external stakeholders, negotiating terms, and securing signed client agreements
Conduct in-person and virtual client meetings, delivering compelling sales presentations tailored to prospective client needs
Successfully handoff newly closed accounts to Account Management partners, ensuring a smooth transition and strong client experience post-close

Required

8+ years of experience in a business development or sales role within a staffing agency, with a proven track record as a results-driven hunter in the IT staffing market
Demonstrated success winning new client business and consistently achieving or exceeding individual revenue and gross profit targets
A strong hunter mentality — confident in cold outreach, proactive business development, and opening new logos in competitive markets
An established professional network within the IT / technology space, with the ability to quickly generate pipeline and accelerate new client acquisition
A deep understanding of the staffing sales lifecycle, including assessing client workforce needs, qualifying opportunities, and shaping solutions that lead to close
The ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive pipeline creation and sustained new-business growth
Strong relationship-building skills, collaborating effectively with internal delivery teams and engaging senior-level client stakeholders
Highly organized and disciplined, with excellent time management, prioritization, and pipeline management skills
Clear, confident communication skills in a remote-first environment, including interviewing, influencing, negotiating, and presenting
Comfort using CRM and ATS tools to track activity, document progress, and maintain accurate records
Eager, resilient, and energized by the pace and accountability of an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented team
