Responsibilities
Senior Accountant will lead and participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules
Perform balance sheet and income statement variance analysis and provide explanations to management
Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
As a Senior Accountant, you will support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and resolve accounting issues
Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
Preferred
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
