Responsibilities

Design, document, and implement internal financial controls and procedures
Evaluate and lead the implementation of financial software and systems to automate reporting and increase efficiency
Ensure compliance with law and regulations
Assist in establishing scalable infrastructure
Ownership of the General Ledger- Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintenance
In charge of AP/AR and payroll processes
Month-End Close-Execute an accurate and timely close process
Prepare and analyze accurate internal financial statements Prepare and submit quarterly lender compliance certificate
Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, tax preparers, and consultants
Develop and manage the annual firm-wide operating budget
Conduct deep-dive analysis on firm profitability
Cash Flow Management- ensure liquidity and inform capital allocation decisions
Provide accurate timely reporting to management
Accurately track revenue based on AUM fees, retainer fees, and service models
Manage the financial calculation and reconciliation of complex advisor compensation and partnership distributions
Manage the financial records related to partner capital accounts and firm-level equity transactions common in an RIA structure
Assist in M&A financial diligence, oversee any QoE efforts
Provide financial and deal modeling to support the transaction efforts
Develop and manage the post-acquisition financial integration

Required

7+ years of accounting & finance experience with 3 years specifically in RIA or Wealth Mgmt
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field - Masters degree is a plus
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred
Understanding of US GAAP
Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface with executive members
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and goal oriented
Ability to follow directions and work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and think for themselves
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with modern GL/accounting systems
