Responsibilities

Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends
Analyze competitors and industry developments to inform strategic planning
Develop comprehensive business plans and strategies to penetrate new markets
Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients
Utilize CRM systems to track and manage leads and opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and objectives
Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to expand business opportunities
Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing and sales initiatives
Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners to maximize mutual benefits
Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve business development goals
Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement
Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
Collaborate with product management to ensure alignment of product offerings with market needs
Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions
Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, including lead generation, sales performance, and market analysis
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and contracts
Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and achievements

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
Understanding and in-depth knowledge of global logistics and production within the pharmaceutical sector
Proven contact and relationship with major pharmaceutical companies
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities
High level of professionalism and integrity
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
You will travel up to 60-70%, including globally, passport a must

Preferred

An MBA is a plus
Preferably in the Pharmaceutical sector
